In the waiting room, to put them at ease, the children find small chairs and a table where they can play safely; the staff is prepared to welcome the little ones, in order to make the encounter with the dentist come to life as a game , a pleasant and enjoyable experience to face with the utmost serenity. By putting children's needs first, we are able to establish a relationship of trust that allows us to obtain their collaboration, which is fundamental for the success of any treatment.
We always say prevention is better than cure ! The advantages of an early visit are many:
- Oral and food hygiene instructions for children and parents to prevent the onset of caries;
- Seals , or small preventive fillings of the deep furrows of the definitive teeth to preserve them from caries;
- Care of initial caries , to prevent early loss of milk teeth or possible root canal treatments (devitalization) of definitive teeth.
- Interceptive orthodontics , to prevent the development of a malocclusion, which can be avoided correcting in time some bad habits, such as the use of pacifier over two years, the finger or other objects kept in the mouth, the incorrect position of the language and other similar situations.
